Review: UpNorth Puff Pasty from Sausage Sister & Me

Sausage Sister & Me has excelled in the art of, well, sausages for decades now, and probably is the best vendor in the whole Food Building (depending on what level of mania you have for cheese curds). Their newest creation is a little bit of a deviation from their usual form, a delightfully flaky puff pasty that masks the porketta sausage involved. The UpNorth name is a misnomer, with the pickles and grain mustard, this is a fun reimagining of a Cuban sandwich. The addition of cheese curds to the mix gives the pasty a beautiful cheese stretch as you bite into it. It is a little small and light on the sausage relative to the $8 price point, but otherwise a good item to try for any meal, breakfast, lunch or dinner.
